We carefully researched all out options
before settling with
Exquisite weddings and the venue of Kalithea Spa. We had heard via chat
rooms etc that some other venues were a bit like a tread mill with one
bride
in and another out. We had also heard that Kalithea only did two
weddings a
day and these were towards the end of the day. This was a plus for us as
we
had been to a wedding in Kos some time ago at 1pm when the wedding was
over
and before the evening reception EVERYONE complained about being too hot
and
went and got into their costumes, which took the shine off the day. We
thought if we got married later in the day we could stay in our bridal
outfits and not be too hot either, and it worked the venue was lovely
and
cool and it was not so bad being in a heavy dress at that time of day.
The
venue was absolutely gorgeous , we choose to not visit it prior to the
actual wedding and so I was very nervous. i should not have been , it
was a
fantastic venue and my mum said it was nicer than anything in OK
magazine
(quite the accolade from an avid fan ha ha) . Words can not descibe how
nice it is and all said they had not been to an nicer venue ever. The
ceremony was short but sweet then we returned to the Aldemear hotel
where we
had our reception as our 46 guests had booked in there all inclusive. We
had it in the french restaurant which was truly magnifient and the food
was
stunning and served at the table which is very unusual for all
inclusive.
they had even organised a champagne reception on the balcony. we had a
wonderful day it all went well and our thanks go to Charlotte and the
team
who made it possible and offer many options and combinations of packages
and
optional extras. I would get married every day if I could I loved it!! |
